Decisions, decisions: Life is full of ’em. My latest fork on the road comes in the form of paint. I’ve recently finished putting up the drywall in my ongoing home improvement journey, and now have to figure out what color to paint it. A matte white seems practical, but my gut is telling me to try something different. A Frida Kahlo blue and seafoam green, maybe. They fall outside the proverbial box, but as I have learned, sometimes the biggest risks reap the greatest rewards.

This brings me to the week’s releases, a selection of styles that may appear risky at first, but will serve you well in the long run. A quilted shacket with a truly rich print from Levi's and Denim Tears, for example, will catch everyone’s eye in the best way possible. Ditto the sandals from Suicoke and Missoni, a zany cap from Birds of Condor and Coogi, and bright, bold sneakers from Salmon and Bodega. J.Crew also has a range of fashion-forward styles, courtesy of its new menswear creative director, Brenden Babenzien. Of course, some of you may prefer the road most traveled—and that’s totally fine. For y’all, there’s an elegant navy polo from Jacques, and a pair of pants from Nili Lotan’s inaugural menswear collection. Todd Snyder also has a new capsule that’s safe and summer-ready.

No matter what path you choose—or, if you’re like me, what color to paint your walls—do it with conviction. Cop the stuff that you feel is right in your gut.

For more than a decade, Nili Lotan has been offering some of the sleekest basics on the market. Season after the season, the designer takes a stalwart item, and refines it, making it better for today's consumer. It's no wonder she's received a cult following with fashion insiders. And this week, Lotan has introduced her first menswear collection. She's taken the same ethos that has made her womenswear line an industry favorite, and applied it to a collection of elegant, no-fuss separates that'll live in your closet for years.

Levi's and Denim Tears have joined forces again. This time around, the purveyor of some of the most iconic jeans and designer Tremaine Emory have created a collection that examines the rich history of the African Diaspora in America by honoring the heritage and craft of the Gullah Geechee people.

In other nifty collab news, Todd Snyder has released a capsule collection with Gerry Beckley, which showcases photos that the musician has taken on the road.

P.F. Flyers is resurrecting its icons. First was the Bob Cousy All American, and now the 1993 Center—aka, the shoe from The Sandlot—has come back into the fold.

Skagen and Soulland, two Danish brands, have teamed on a collection of timepieces that exemplifies their home nation's minimalist aesthetic.

It's hot out there, folks, which means you need deodorant. And if you're looking for something that's organic, effective, and smells divine, Hume's latest assortment—especially Amber Woods—is a must-cop.

Salomon's classic, hiking-ready X-Mission 4 sneaker gets the Bodega treatment with suede uppers and a supremely fantastic combination of colors.

If you've ever stayed at one or more of The Standard's resorts or hotels, you're well aware of the company's use of yellow. And if you plan on visiting one or more of its destinations soon, these swim trunks, done in partnership with Onia, will help you fit right in.

It's the dawn of a new era for J.Crew. The brand has just released the first collection from menswear creative director, Brenden Babenzien, a man who specializes in blending street-ready style, preppy classics, and overall wearability.

It's impossible to miss the reemergence of caps on runways and store shelves. Just about every brand is offering 'em in cool patterns and colors. And if you're looking to hop on the bandwagon, this one from a new collab between fellow Aussies Birds of Condor and Coogi will have your style soaring.

After releasing its first activewear line a few months back, Jacques is taking on the game of tennis, offering streamlined cuts that'll work just as well off the court as on it.

Suicoke's DEPA is undeniably one of the best sandals around. Now, the style had gotten the high-fashion treatment thanks to a partnership with Missoni.

Rowing Blazers: preppy American style. La Martina: preppy Argentinian style. Rowing Blazers and La Martina: a win-win if ever we've seen one.

A few fingers of bourbon is just what you need on a Friday afternoon. And if you're looking for one of the latest and greatest, Frank August, a newcomer in the world of spirits, has the right bottle for you.
