On Thursday evening, Emma Watson stepped out for a rare night on the town, to honor a very noteworthy cause. The star attended the Kering Foundation’s very first Caring for Women Dinner, to raise funds for charitable organizations committed to ending gender-based violence.

The event, hosted by Anderson Cooper at The Pool in New York City was co-chaired by Salma Hayek Pinault, her husband, CEO of Kering, François-Henri Pinault, famed feminist journalist and activist Gloria Steinem, Gisele Bündchen, Julie Mehretu, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, and Samuel L. Jackson.

An A-list set came out of the woodwork in support of the cause, including Watson (who’s a U.N. Women Goodwill Ambassador), model Karlie Kloss, actress Jodie Turner-Smith, model Christy Turlington Burns and her husband, Ed Burns, Kat Graham, Jeremy O. Harris, and many more. Guests were serenaded by Grammy Award-winner, Andra Day.

The evening featured a live auction spearheaded by Christie’s Auction House’s Lydia Fenet. Kering’s Houses donated a wide array of items and experiences, including a Cannes Film Festival red carpet experience from Kering, a multi-city tour of Gucci fashion across Italy, an appointment for a custom Gucci look, iconic armadillo boots from Alexander McQueen, a couture fitting experience from Balenciaga, and more.

All of the proceeds from the evening went towards multiple organizations combatting gender-based violence, such as the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), Global Fund for Women, Jordan River Foundation (JRF) and Ms. Foundation for Women. “Progress comes when more and more voices come together to say, ‘This cannot stand. This must change. This is unacceptable,’” Pinault said when addressing the crowd. “We have not yet reached that critical mass of male voices who speak out against violence. So this must become our priority, along with our support to survivors. This can and should be a defining era for men’s solidarity with women. Violence against women was never just a “woman’s issue” – it is everyone’s issue. It affects every life.”

Celebrities pulled out high-fashion stops for the charitable night, and we rounded them up, below.

British actress, director, and U.N. Women Goodwill Ambassador wore a white lace gown from Alexander McQueen, with a pair of black buckled platform sandals and a spiked black knuckle clutch from the fashion house.

House of Gucci actress and Kering Foundation Board Member, Salma Hayek arrived alongside her husband François-Henri Pinault in a shimmering black Gucci gown with ruffled off-the-shoulder sleeves and a matching ruffled pom-pom bag.

Always one to opt for a pop of color, Jodie Turner-Smith looked brought a bright look in her orange long-sleeve cutout Gucci gown with a plunging neckline, styled by Wayman and Micah.

In another orange moment, Karlie Kloss chose a burnt orange Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2022 off-the-shoulder gown with puff sleeves for the event. She accessorized the dress with center high slit with a double-wrapped black leather belt, ankle-strap pumps, a black clutch, and layered silver and gold chain necklaces.
